so i love the quotes on Starbucks cups. and since i'm lucky enough to work there, i can read 'em all. although, i rarely have time to! some are great and inspiring, some get me thinking, some are dumb, and some are way beyond my comprehension, but here is one that i've recently loved:
"The irony of commitment is that it's deeply liberating--in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life." (Anne Morriss, Starbucks customer)
For some reason, i love this quote. maybe it's because commitment, one of the biggest commitments you can make in life, is the banner over my life right now. and it truly is liberating. i cannot wait to marry Matt, for the freedom that that entails. i can live with him, love and serve him freely, have my own home and enjoy being a wife!
so enough for being sappy. i just like that quote! :-)
