it is amazing to me how people rally around those that serve. my parents have been going to a small church for the past year or so. i'm good friends with a couple that is on staff at this church. the pastor emailed me when he heard about my trip and asked for me to speak one Sunday before i leave. he wants me to speak about my testimony, my calling to go on this trip, and my needs for the summer. They will take a love offering up for me and pray over me right there! I think this is incredible. All of my life, I've been on the praying side, just wishing i could be on the going side....and now i am. while this is only for ten weeks, i know this will not be my last trip.
What's so cool is that I have maybe been to this church five times when I am at home from school. And here they are wanting to do all they can for me. this support is so overwhelming that all i can do is thank the Lord for continually showing me this is the right thing to do. i love it.
things are wrapping up here at school. well, at least, trying to. it's hard to be excited to graduate and excited to go to Romania when i have so many papers to write. when i say so many papers, i mean like 7. yeah. i'm up to my eyeballs in papers. it's hard to enjoy my last days when all i do is write. so pray that i can be speedy in my writing so that i can really soak in this last week and a half. wow. hard to believe i am graduating college.
currently listening to: silence....kinda nice.

Bekah,
I'm so very proud of you. You're almost finished with college, just one final push to get those last papers submitted. You can do it!
God is going to use you in such a special way this summer, and affect your heart forever.
We love you.
